Plan with Confidence
In the nature of our business we are required to plan years in advance in many cases. Guides employed, boating equipment purchased, permits reserved, planes booked, horses bought—other guests turned away from seats once they have been reserved. As such, all trip deposits and final payments are non-refundable at the time of receipt and reservation. We appreciate that sometimes things come up and will do our best to work with you when possible. For this reason, we highly recommend that you purchase trip insurance for yourself if you feel that you may need to cancel for any reason. In most cases, trip insurance must be purchased at or near the time of initial reservation. We do not offer trip insurance through IWC but there are many reputable companies out there for you to choose from. Should you need to cancel, the first step would be to find a replacement for yourself and/or your other guests who can take over your reservation. We can also work to fill your seat if given enough notice, and if we are successful, you may be able to receive a refund (less a certain percentage of fees).
If IWC needs to cancel a trip for safety reasons, we will work with you to rebook your trip later in the season, or in the first opportunity during soonest/following season. Please be aware that as we operate in the wilderness, we are often at the mercy of Mother Nature’s conditions, water levels, wildfires, wind, road closures and etc.
